9. Angel’s trumpet
Angel’s trumpet is also known as Brugmansia. This plant belongs to the Solanaceae family and has seven species of flowering plants. Angel’s trumpet blooms in different colors such as white, yellow, pink, orange, and creamy. They reach up to 20cm in length and their leaves are large, dark green, and shiny. All parts of Angel’s trumpet are toxic. The Brugmansia plant contains highly toxic and potentially deadly alkaloids such as hyoscyamine, atropine, and scopolamine. The highest concentration of these toxins is found in its leaves and seeds.
