3) Filip Helander
Filip Helander is a Swedish professional football player. He plays as a center-back for the Scottish Premiership side Rangers and the Sweden national team. On 17 October 2011, he made his Allsvenskan debut against ‘Syrianska’.
He played a total of 12 league matches for Malmö during the 2012 season. He played 18 matches for the club in the league title winning the 2013 season. It proved to be the real breakthrough season for him. In the 2014 season, he played regularly throughout the entire season as the club defended its league title. The team qualified for the group stage of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League.
Helander was also nominated for Swedish defender of the year at Fotbollsgalan. On 22 July 2015, he signed for Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A. He made his debut against ‘Internazionale’. He scored his first Serie A goal against ‘Lazio’. On 31 August 2016, he joined Bologna. He was part of Sweden’s squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. On 13 July 2019, he was announced as a new signing for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. He made his debut in a Scottish League Cup against ‘East Fife’.
